Reduces Stress &
Increases
Motivation
Harvard’s TH Chan School of Public Health reports that Incorporating 45 minutes of daily crafting or creative time at work significantly reduces stress by lowering cortisol levels and triggering the release of mood-boosting neurotransmitters like dopamine.
Reinforces a positive, people-centered culture
When employees find deep meaning and purpose in a philanthropic craft project, managers benefit through significantly boosted engagement, stronger team cohesion, and improved employee well-being.
Improves Employee Focus &
Productivity
Stepping away from screens to work with their hands acts as a mental reset, preventing cognitive fatigue and increasing overall productivity when employees return to their tasks.
Strengthens connectedness, engagement and morale
Collaborative crafting builds camaraderie through shared values. Employees engaged in company-sponsored volunteer programs report higher job satisfaction and are more enthusiastic, motivated, and committed when they feel their employer supports meaningful social impact.
